Shopping online for such a personal item can be very tricky. If you would like some help before placing an order, please feel free to reach out first.
There are only 5 major sale dates, followed by a few items where all sales are final (listed below); other than that, all Wigs and Toppers can be exchanged or refunded.
All orders that come back to the shop are returned to Jon Renau, who has set fees for certain fibers (listed on the right) and a one restrictions: no tags, no return, no matter the issue (that's their biggest one - voids all returns ).
When we work together, the return rate drops immensely. However, returns are to be expected in this industry, and it's understandable that we're often shopping in a pinch or even unexpectedly at times, leaving room for error. If you're reading this and have already invested weeks and/or months in Google searches and YouTube videos, what's another week ~ to nail it? I'd be happy to connect, ensuring what you receive is going to work for you and your lifestyle.

The cost is visible, you’re not being over charged anywhere or anytime when you shop at The Wig Wardrobe.
Free Shipping and/or discounted: If a refund is being provided and you received Free and/or Discounted Shipping on your order the actual cost to ship to your location will be deducted from your refund. Unfortunately, free shipping offers are not valid on Samples Boxes.
Cancelled Orders:
You can cancel anytime before your order ships out, 4%, will be deducted from your refund.
If you cancel after I have received your order, 4% + the appropriate restocking fee, will be deducted from your refund.
Should you cancel after your order has shipped, please purchase a return label here, once I receive your order, it will be processed like regular return.
I'd be happy to cover the cost of your return label, this way I go ahead and make the arrangements for your new do.

What are all the fees, you ask?
TXN Fee: When you check out using any major credit card or your PayPal account, there is a transaction fee that goes directly to the platform provider. The processing fees mentioned above are deducted from your refund.
To give you a better idea, if you hate math.
On a $400 order, the deduction would be $16.00
Cash or eTransfer: No fees, receive a full refund - less shipping & restocking fees.
Restocking Fees (RSF): When your order is returned, it is sent back to Jon Renau, the restocking fee is what I am charged to return.
Be sure to keep everything until you know 100% that you're in love. (Tags, tissue, netting and so on)
Once you receive your order it only takes a few short moments to realize ~SHOOT!~ This is not going to work for me!
After the second day of receiving your order, all items are final sale.
I encourage you to fully check out your new do, if there is anything that causes concern, please bring it to my attention as soon as possible.
Together we can then work on finding just the right one or get the ball rolling on your cash refund.
I do my best to check everything that ships, however there are days where goods are arriving within moments of my drop off time with Canada Post.
If you're looking for the fastest shipping, you can opt to select Jon Renau via UPS, your order will leave directly from the warehouse, or if you're local Contactless Pick Up is also an option.
Please note: Jon Renau will not ship to P/O Boxes - if you're able you can use a family member or work address. If you do not have an alternate address the last option would be to send it to your closest UPS location or I can ship via Canada Post.
Keep your tags safe, it's very important, unfortunately Jon Renau will deny the refund if the tag is not included.
Please be sure to package your item(s) as received; all tags, tissue, netting & labels need to be included. Ensuring the item(s) are in its original condition; fragment and/or odor free.
With care, package your return within a mailer or box.

When it comes to defects those are normally caught during Quality Control, with that said I take a quick peek as well, and I have come across a few myself over the years. Some styles, right from the box may appear out of shape - Don't Worry! it's normal and known as a box set and/or cold crimp. A quick wash will help settle the fibers into their proper shape.
Either way, if it's a defect or just not the right colour and/or length kind of issue, contacting me within the first 48 hours is recommended, with it being such a delicate & personal item there are only a couple days allotted to request a return/exchange.
Some mistakes can be fixed on site, such as a clip stitched backwards. A twisted weft or the colour being off is a little different. If you're asking yourself "how can these mistakes even happen?", well that's an easy answer. All of Jon Renau's pieces are crafted by hand, this leaving room for human error, time to time.
If there happens to be something off with your item, a replacement will be sent out at no added cost to you.
If you don't need your alternative hair to arrive in a weeks time, I would totally recommend having colour samples sent your way 1st. Going this route makes for a stress free decision, there will be no worrying or seconding guessing yourself. You'll receive any & all that you want to see along with a return label & packaging to get them back safely. Once they arrive it's best to use both natural & artificial lighting to find your true match <3
